Yes, my bike's picture was taken under florescent lighting and the image was dark and yellow, so I "enhanced" it.... which made the colors sort of nasty and saturated. It doesn't look quite so neon in person.

If I owned a bike that color, I think I'd claim it was British racing green. Nice grab, OP.

by the here is scan of various Schwinn models, simply scan down to Paramount find your submodel and click on the year; see: https://bikecatalogs.org/SCHWINN/years_by_model.html Some of the catalogs are complete, and once your looking at your bike you can page back to the rear and a spec sheet sometimes pops up, even a cost sheet.

No, you need the Queen's blessing for that.

Bikes: to many to list

Thanks for all the comments. I like the green. I would rather have Campus green!

I am going to put on the stock 75 decals that are simular to years prior. He is giving me new white decals..not sure if I will go black or white on the decals.

The rear derailleur is cyclone long cage. cranks, hubs and brakes are dura ace..not sure on the headset.. maybe someone can see the top cup on the pic and tell me what it is.

Im tempted to not put campy all over it and do the suntour/SR/sugino high end mix on it. I do want a Chrome campy headset and I all ready have LG flange NR hubs built on concaves for it. Id like a campy triple and I do have a long cage that I can put on a NR rear...we'll see.

Its going to be fun. It passes the 5 foot test..but up close the top tube has some scratches. I have a two 72 paramounts that are shorter wheel base than this.

Someone asked..its a 24 inch frame....and if you looked at the ad I did not pay $900 for it. I did it for cash and traded my 74 sports tourer for it. Ill keep ya'll posted.

Bikes: Fillet-brazed Schwinns

According to this post you don't actually have it yet? If that's true that explains why the ad is still running. You must have a lot more faith than I do, I'd get there ASAP!!!

Metacortex...Yup. the bike was still there today. and yes the ad will continue to run. The first time I looked at it it was very cold outside and I saw it quickly. Today I went with trade and cash in hand. After further inspection I saw the paint cracks, scratches, Huge missing paint where the "flickstand" was and rubbed up and down the downtube. I just didnt see wanting to fix it up without repainting it. Not worth it..

If anyone wants it you can give him a call. He will probably take 700 for it cash. Chrome is good shape but the paint has a little more Patina that I would want for myself. I will continue my quest for a 24 inch Campus green one in better condition.

If interested go to Craigslist Chicago and put in paramount.
