Bar stiffness

I sold two handlebars on eBay last night within seconds of each other. One was a 44cm 3ttt Competizione. The other was a Scott Drop-In bar, same width. I thought I would need to put a brace between the ends of the bars for shipping, just in case. That was true for the Scott. It was quite easy to press the bar from the ends. Brace applied between the ends of the "drop in" part. Then I tried the same maneuver on the 3ttt bar. Wow! Talk about stiff! I still fashioned a brace, but I don't think it was really necessary.

At any rate, I was amazed at the difference in stiffness between the two bars.
