Zunow Bicycles Wiki

A recent exchange with a forum member motivated me to get working on a project I've had in mind for the last year or so: a website dedicated to Zunow bicycles. I've set up a wiki at Zunow.info, as I decided that the wiki format would be the best way to go about it since I'd like this site to be a repository for information, articles, and photos of Zunow bikes.

With that in mind, I'm putting out an open call for information on and pics of Zunow bicycles. I've done about a zillion google searches over the years, so I'm familiar with the bulgier.net and classicrendezvous.com catalogs and pages. But there's so much I still don't know.

Here's a couple items that would be very helpful:

- Catalogs or documentation. don't care if it's in Japanese!
- Who were the American and Canadian importers and dealers who carried Zunow? I'm pretty sure they were repped by a Vancouver-based company, and probably also an importer in California.
- Timelines. When did they start making Zunows? When did Kageyama retire?
- Info about Kageyama, the builder behind Zunow.
- I'm pretty sure other builders worked at Zunow too, like the guy behind Nakagawa bikes. Anyone else know?
- Models: what were all of the Zunow models made? Quick list of what I can think of: KYGM, Lauro, DiPicce, Aercs, Lepton, Serow, Z-1, Beradonna

and of course, photos!

you can email stuff to me at mechastudios *at* usa.net. if you're interested in working on the site, let me know too.

thank you!
