I recently acquired an A E Elsegood frameset. Although I have found out something about him eg that he had a bike shop Minster Cycles in York and was building bikes in the 50s, that is all I really know. Does anyone have a photo of an existing Elsegood to compare mine or any other information about him - Thanks

Sorry Iain, I've never heard of A E Elsegood. But I would be very happy to learn of him now; perhaps you'd be so good as to post some photos? Someone may be able to tell you something based on the lug designs or something like that.

And: welcome to the forum!

Didn't see that name mentioned in a cursory glance at Classiclightweights.UK , but I'll bet someone on that site has heard of him.
