If the bike is female, the baby bike nurses there for the first six months or so. If the bike is male, who knows.

My bikes are all females, but only the Bott has a nipple. The others are sans nipple. Is this a new genetic mutation brought about by the use of carbon? BTW, is the Bott a uni-nippler?

But seriously folks, my old bike had one and it came with a frame pump that was supported with it, all was good. My current bike (new to me but an '80s model) doesn't have one but I'd like to have a frame pump for it. Are there frame pumps that don't need a nipple to stay up (oh, I can see someone having a go at this one) or are there add-on nipples (or strap-ons if you want to more incentive for joking)?

Yes. There are many kinds of clamp-on pump holders. From umbrella clips, like the Campy, REG, AFA, etc. Or the double clamp-on ones. Like these, from you neck of the woods.
