while it's not "my cat" I like seeing it when it visits & I recently discovered where it lives. when I stay over at my parents vacant house, 2 nights a month, I bring the game cameras. there's always something interesting in the yards over night, such as rabbits, raccoons, skunk & this little guy. he lives across the side street at my old best friends house. saw it sitting on a window sill. my friend's Dad became more friendly after his stroke & he retired. grew strawberries on the side of his house. his son moved out before I moved out of our house & he liked having someone to talk to. this cat, unrelated, seems to be the local outdoor gatekeeper. saw it playing w/ a baby rabbit early one morning. seeing it helps make the melancholy visits a tiny bit happier

My wife found a 6 year old cat the wife needed to rehome. She said it was her deceased husband's cat and it didn't like her. She had been in a trap for two weeks in the garage. My wife was watching it and no one wanted her. I told her we would take her.
We already have 18 house cats. So we get out there with a carrier. It's a little black and grey tipped angora. So pretty. I wasn't sure what she was going to do. I opened my carrier and put it against her trap. We CRACKED the trap door. There was no stopping her. She pushed it open and ran in to my carrier.
She's in my bathroom and so sweet. I cut the knots off her side with a battery cutter, no issues. She just wants love and loves everyone. She has an appointment on Tuesday then I can start the introductions.

My wife was sitting on the couch and Heyboy was smelling someone by our bedroom gate. She thought it was Johnny. She Spitzed water and Maggie took off back to the bathroom. We had no idea she had walked there.
My Roxie looks identical to your cat.

patio-cam just saw a new stray cat walk by. pretty beefy. nice to see it has a collar. in the video it's eyes are keenly locked at the spot where our cat sits, inside. Wonder what our Rosie thought

New cat day!
I scooped this little guy out of 50 mph rush hour traffic after he was hit by a car yesterday evening. I was sure he was dying, and he would have been in a few moments if I hadn't reached him quicky. Surprisingly, he had no visible injuries other than favoring one leg.
I took him straight to a 24 hour pet ER, fearing he would need to be euthanized but X-rays showed the worst of his injuries was a slight pulmonary edema. We left him overnight at the vet, and the doctor said he sounded better today, so we brought him home this afternoon. We'll need to watch him closely for the next few days, but we're hopeful we'll be able to introduce him to our other 2 adult cats soon.
He had an IV on his leg overnight. He's so small the vet didn't have a cone that fit, so she made this one from a paper plate.
