My "New" old bicycle.

Finally have decided to return to cycling. Have always been a runner but it is finally taking its toll on my knee. Back is a bit stiff also. My brother gave me his old 80's Univega. I don't think it had 100 miles on it. Pretty much hung on his garage wall for 25 yrs. Couldn't get into the curved bars due to back pain. Took it to my local Bike shop and Voila ! New/Old city style cruiser.

It looks really great!

Do you have trouble getting at the shifters while riding? You might consider something mounted on the handlebars.

Thanks. I am really happy with the feel of the bike. I don't mind the shifters. Only ten speeds so I don't shift too much.lol. I might add some toe clips
