Couple of questions...
I guess I am search illiterate...but since getting into this C & V thing last year... I am finding that I want to ride more and more.
I know that I do not come close to most of you, but am curious to find out the following to see where i compare:
1) How much (far) do you ride...say per week?
2) What your average speed is?
I am up to about 90 - 110 miles per week and am averaging around 17 mph (according to my bike CPU and MapMyRide)...

I ride about 50 miles on weekends and 50 - 75 on stationary bike during the week. Average weekend speed is 16-17 mph. Thee are plenty of people out there that claim 21-23 mph, but that's a very high average speed, indicating 1) an exceptional level of fitness or 2) Riding within a group (always quicker due to drafting/competitive edge) or 3) Broken bike computer.
I typically ride faster on my modern carbon bikes than on my steel C&V, but I'm going for distance, not speed - most of the time. Every once in a while I'll do a 10 mile TT to see how I'm doing. Last one was 28:41 on a carbon Trek Madone. Almost a year ago for that, so I'm due for another.

It really varies, sadly this time of year I hardly get to ride. But my average rides are 20-50 miles and if I can help it more then 3 times a week.

You and I got into the game about the same time. It's sad to say that I don't get to ride as often as I'd like during most of the year since I'm constantly in class/doing homework when I'm not/at work when I'm not doing those. But I usually get out on the steel road bike every weekend for a good workout/30 mile ride. Average speed about 13 mph. I found that some days, though, my lower back gets really, really tense from an old injury.
I find sitting upright on the 3 speed and just having a relaxing ride through the city/greenways is much more relaxing, less painful, and generally all-around more of a pleasure.

I average somewhere between 20-50 miles a week, varies greatly. Avg speed seems to be 15-17, but that is mostly on city streets, so lots of stop signs and lights. I have a 10 mile circuit I ride and on my 87 Bridgestone, I have been averaging right at about 17.5mph on my Bridgestone. The course has 6 stoplights and 9 stop-signs, things that slow the average.

Bikes: A green one, "Ragleigh," or something.
Since I started keeping a log, 200 - 300 miles per month. My schedule is a bit backwards from most, my winter months have more free time and the cool weather isn't "cold," so I can take a long lunch* to do this ride, convenient to my place of work, every day if I want to. It's 17.5 miles and I usually average just under 16mph.

I typically ride about 10-15 miles per day, occasionally up to 18-20 miles. These days, I'm limited by the heat, so I have to have my ride over with by 7:00am. Today, it was already around 90° on the way to 119. I usually ride around 100 miles a week. I'm 71 years old, and not in particularly good condition, so I only average around 13-14 mph.

It has varied significantly, anywhere from 20 miles per week some years to 100 miles per week in other years and maybe 18-20-mph when I lived in New Orleans to 15-16 in Colorado when I chose relatively less hilly terrain to as low as 12-mph avg. on a moderately hilly, 25 mile route, all above 6000-ft altitude. So as you can see, you can't really compare. It's apples and oranges.

Distance per week depends on where and when I/we ride. I commute to my workplace 3 days a week, and if the weather is good it involves about 26 to 27 miles per day. Sometimes I'll squeeze in 10 miles on the other work days; often I can't. Weekend rides on the tandem run from 30 to 60 miles per day, and we'll ride both Sat and Sun if we can; often we can't. When I get to ride solo on a weekend I like to run at least a metric century, up to a full century, unsupported. But I don't get to do that very often.
Captaining a tandem seems much harder than riding solo. Don't convince your spouse to ride a tandem unless you are willing to see you solo miles go way down!
Speeds? Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! Avg speed depends on how much slow-distance gets averaged in. We'll hit the low 20's on some straight stretches, often cruise at 17-18, and sometimes hit a max over 30, but rarely does our computer ever report an average above 12.5. Only once can I remember ever breaking 13. In the other hand, I'm pretty sure we averaged 28.7mph today. Yeah, I positive. Definitely. We could do that every ride if we really wanted to, I am sure of it. Honest. Maybe even break 30.
