Bikes of Gold Rush
I am back from Gold Rush Randonnee, a 1200K ride that takes place in the remote northeast corner of California. Here are pictures of some C&V bikes in the ride:
My Romulus parked next to a Richard Sachs:

This was the most beat-up Sachs I had seen, the owner said it had 60,000 miles in 4 years.

It was a beautiful ride in challenging conditions. The first 24 hours had nearly constant rain, windy second day, then seasonably hot third day. View towards the end of day 1:
