What colnago frame is this?
Hi guys,
I always thought this was a super piu, however someone recently said it maybe a conic, i have emailed the serial to colnago but have had no reply.
does anyone have any ideas?
please ignore the saddle i was having issues with it that day

I agree. I think we might need to see the tubing decal on the seat tube. It may say Conic or Total Spiral indicating that it's a Colnago conic SLX model. It may indicate something else though. It does look like a Conic SLX similar to the one shown in the bulgier site, 1988 Colnago Catalogue on page 6.

Sounds like it might be Columbus Cyclex "THRON" tubing.

If your frame is made of Thron tubing I think Thron was a mid 90's tube set made from the older Cyclex tube material. It is double butted and probably aimed at the amateur racer looking for a competitive frame.
I think your Colnago's identity probably lies in the mid range of models from the mid 90's era.
