Paramount Stem Sticker
Hey, guys;
Can anyone tell me if the gear-inch chart sticker on this '72 P15-9 was applied at the factory, or was it a dealer addition? I'm asking because the numbers look typewritten to me. While I'm at it, is the red bar wrap original for a Flamboyant Red bike, or should it be black?

That was something people sometimes did back in the early seventies. I remember reading about it in a magazine (probably Bicycling) and typing up my own gear chart and taping it to the stem. It was supposed to help you see the progression of the gears and the overlap between the small and large chainrings. If you are trying to decide if it should be removed or not, I encourage you to keep it. It's quirky and adds authenticity to the bike.

That's a Frank Berto affectation, for sure!
