Not sure how classic it is

While sharing on the road bike forum somebody recommended I share this here.
It's a bike I had when young children came along and so I parked it up for a few years which turned into 10.
It's a 1984 Celo Europa. From a Bike Shop in Orange County California. I have read they were built in the Colnago factory but I am not sure on that. Currently has 600 SIS 7 speed on it. Comfortable to ride.
I have some 8 speed Ultegra that I was going to install and my plans is to get fit to ride a Century next year to take my total to 5.

Welcome to the Forum!

1984 certainly qualifies a C&V around these parts.

Here is a link to a Celo Europa thread from a few years back. It contains some info you may find helpful. Now, lets see some pics of your bike from the drive side.

From: 700 Ft. above sea level.

Bikes: Not as many as there were awhile ago.

Even if it didn't qualify as "classic" it still qualifies as classy. Very nice, glad to see it has been preserved so well and yes, we need photos of it's "good" side.

Ok will this afternoon before my ride.
It is a triple which I put in from my road bike when I used to ride the hills around Wellington New Zealand.
It's nice at times with my rear cluster being 12-19

Thanks! They always look so much better from the "business" side.

Very nice. What components are you using on it?

Currently has 600 7 Speed. The shifters are Sora and the front Derailleur is 105. I changed these over so I could ride with the triple. My knees couldn't handle the hills around here with a 12-18 rear cassette. The other part I have are Ultegra 6400. Not modern but it would I had the chance to get them when the rider upgraded to 11 speed. The Chainrings are Sugino. 48 / 38 / 24
