Looking for a new aero lever - size, function?
My Trek 520 commuter has Dia-Compe cantilever brakes. I currently use Shimano BR-400 levers, which are a bit small. (I think that's a fairly common comment about them.) I plan to swap out the bars for something else later this year, so might as well find some levers that fit my hands better. The thread about ferrules for the Dia-Compe AGC levers reminded me I wanted to get the group's input on this issue. Are the Dia-Compe lever hoods a bit bigger than the Shimano? Will they work reasonably well with the cantis?
Edit: I should point out that I still have the original Dia-Compe levers that came original with the bike. They do not have aero routing though, so won't work with my wintertime bar mitts.
