How to decode a Raleigh serial #
I'm not sure where to post this. I am hoping that it is in the right area. I have a three speed Raleigh bike and I'm trying to decode the serial # to find out what I can about it. I tried Sheldon Brown's site and a couple of others but I couldn't see anything with just straight numbers. Here is my serial # 3183103 . It has a Sturmy Archer hub that says ( Sturmy Archer, AW, 67 2 Three Speed.

I have a Raleigh Sports with a hub dated Oct of 67 (67 10) and a serial number on the BB somewhat higher than yours. Here's a link that may help: https://www.kurtkaminer.com/TH_raleigh_serials.html
'67 is not listed but 68 and 69 are and your number is consistent with an early 67 bike. The 2 indicates your hub was produced in Feb of 67.
