Wow! I see you've really thought about this and are executing the plan artfully. Those fillets are so pleasing to look at...

Goodness gracious! I'm in awe. I love the wire and cable routing...along with everything else. Congrats!!

Quite a statement from the builder.
What a lucky, lucky buyer. :) |
Brakes???? Nice bike build....
|
Still deciding on brakes. Disc, maybe Avid BB7.
This is a builder mock up.

Win, all around.
These pics made my day (and left me a little jealous, if I'm completely honest). |
Is it just my imagination, or does the chainstay protector double as a spare spoke holder?

This is a builder mock up. TRP Spyres. TRP Easier to set up. Rotors' clearance stays where it is supposed to after wheel removal. Doesn't squeal like the BB7s. BB7s have good stopping power, but they are less elegant in their design. Modulation gives the rider less feedback. http://www.trpbrakes.com/timthumb.ph...jpg&w=300&zc=1 |
TRP Spyres are good, I like them. Though I also have no bad things to say about BB7s. I was happy with the modulation. What brake levers are you going to use?
|
ye gods that's beautiful.
|
I'm using TRP levers, so I'll consider the TRP discs.
I have the bb7's on a bike now and like them. ThecTRP's do look nice.

Oh holy ****.
It's like you two went into my brain and got all the ideas I've dreamed of putting together. Congratulations to you and immense compliments to Tomii. And thanks to your wifey. BTW, what fenders are those? |
Fenders are VO Zeppelin. Tomii recommended these.
One nice thing about Nao is he likes certain things for a build and it's not just always choose the most expensive. His communication is also great. He's a nice guy who is really excited to build exceptional bikes :) I gave him freedom to build the racks using his own design. They turned out fricken amazing. The front lowriders are removable and he designed the front rack to hold the handlebar bag, keeping the cockpit free. I might add secondary brake levers now :) @thegoldenboy See where the pump will be behind the seat post? |
