Bottom Bracket help...
So here is my plan, but I need help to make sure I do it correctly.
Move my 170 Ofmega cranks from my 1984 Torpado onto my 1981 Bianchi Limited (commuter).
Replace the Ofmegas with some new (to me) VO 175 cranks. (These I know are JIS)
My question is this...do I move the bottom bracket from the Torpado to the Bianchi along with the cranks? Then replace the BB on the Torpado with a new on? Say like a UN55 (is it JIS?)
Or do I even bother moving/changing BB and just move the cranks? Or something else?

Ofmega cranks often had a unique taper of their own, check out Sheldon Browns page. I agree with pars is the Ofmega BB fits move it with the cranks to the Bianchi.
What is wrong with the cranks on the Bianchi?

Nothing. The Bianchi became my commuter when my other got stolen...so the cranks on it are just bland. The Ofmegas are just SO much better looking. :-).

As long as the threading and BB shell widths are the same, move everything together. It'll save an awful lot of bother.
