Did Univega make Terry bikes?

This sorta looks like one doesn't it? Great deal if it is, not a bad deal if it isn't.

Univega never made a bike. They were a marketing company, sold what others made for them. They made brochures.

Many of the 1980s Japanese brands had a Terry knockoff.

This one just looks like a weird camera angle. On the Terry bikes, the top tube was very close to the height of the rear tire.

Miyata made (most) Univegas...and as wrk101 says: there were many "Terry" style frames made by/sold by many brands.

Ok, thanks. I couldn't tell if it was tire size or camera angle. If it was any closer I might go get it, just cause it looks like a good bike with nice components and a sweet price. But it is all the way across the state from here.
Funny, I'll go half way across the state for one bike or not the other. Doesn't matter what state. I'm in Rhode Island now and the other side of Providence seems just as far away as the other side of Albuquerque did when I lived in New Mexico.

For reference, here is the top tube/rear wheel comparison I mentioned earlier. Note, this is NOT the smallest of the Terry sizes. They make one size smaller.

I see what you mean. Yeah, I think this one is just camera angle. I might pick it up if I'm in that neighborhood, though. Nice components.
