Interesting serial numbers
I picked up a bike recently that had an interesting serial number:
The seller (original owner) claimed it was the first of it's kind (model, at least). I sent an e-mail to the importer, who didn't have s/n-based records back that far.
I'd like to think it had no influence on the purchase, but I'm not sure.
Anyone with a similar tale?
