Another 'help identify my frame' thread

Good day,

-Intro. You can skip this-
Since it is my first post in this forum, short introduce. Been cycling since very little like all the kids, had more than 10 bicycles since then. When I was studying and moved to live in another country, I became a digger for cheapest riding bicycles available. I guess my best deal was the first one I got, a city-cruiser, all rusty steely, but with solid and straight wheels and like-a-new tires for €20. My Royal refresh. Since then I had several Austrian made Puch's enjoyed them a lot, I was and still am not sure what makes me happier riding them or finding a crappy and forgotten bike and making it shine again. The remarkable moment was when we went for a trip with my two friends. Over 150 km were covered per one day. Haven't toke any spares for the trip but luckily nothing wrong had happened. A €25 two wheeler haven't made me worry not for a second. Then I realized how trustworthy and simple these mechanisms are. I got the passion.

-The question-
Bought an early nineties, entry level road bike Torbole. But I can't figure out who made it. I was looking in the forums and catalogs for a while but couldn't find what kind of brand frame it is.
From parts (Shimano Exage Motion groupset) and front fork I am guessing it is early 90's. Frame looks something like Giant or Fuji Palisade was my closest match from looks. The only sticker it has is 'Torbole' - not original. My guess the paint job is not original too. I am sure PO made a little upgrade - Mavic Open SUP CD wheels with Shimano 600 tricolore hubs, Shimano hyperglide 7-speed cassette.
The other parts look like this Biopace oval double crank 25.8mm seatpost, Exage, Cheapest headset, SN.:106369.
Got it all cleaned up, new bar tape, all cables and armors, all bearings cleaned up and relubed, standard pedals and reupholstered the seat with a black suede (not in the picture) Unknown .

Anybody have some thoughts what frame could it be ?
Thank you for your attention

Bikes: 1940s Fothergill, 1959 Allegro Special, 1963? Claud Butler Olympic Sprint, Lambert 'Clubman', 1974 Fuji "the Ace", 1976 Holdsworth 650b conversion rando bike, 1983 Trek 720 tourer, 1984 Counterpoint Opus II, 1993 Basso Gap, 2010 Downtube 8h, and...

From that photo, no. If you post photos of the lugs, fork crown, and any other distinctive frame details, there's a chance someone might recognize it.

Hi there,

Ehm my rear lugs look like this https://www.dropbox.com/s/pbkup811ml3tbx3/IMAG0574.jpg
and fork crown I guess is this https://www.dropbox.com/s/rnhjz6bhgk15v24/IMAG0564.jpg

I guess I have looked the frame inside out (even tried spot something inside front fork tube), but I can't find any stamps, logos, digits or letters except from that SN on BB.

Any ideas.. ?

What country are you in? I am sure there are/were thousands of small independent frame builders in Europe that no one here ever heard of.
I assume you already searched this on the internet?

It looks like a very nice quality frame for certain. The seatpost size seems odd but maybe an older Vitus tubeset?

I am from Europe, Lithuania.
We do have a bicycle factory here, but it's more of a local known, MTB, commuting, city style bike manufacturer - "Panther". As far as I know they haven't produced road bikes in their lifetime.
All of the road bikes we meet here are imports.

The frame do look in a good shape for its age, no rust at all, but as I said it doesn't have any stickers, although the paint-job looks quality made.
So I'm confused if stickers were removed for some reason, or somebody done a proper repaint.

The frame looks like the LHT. No not a 26, a 700c. The bend in the forks, and the very low bottom bracket just immediately jumped out out at me. I can't see no difference between a LHT and this.
