Opinions, please
I just received my repro Reynolds stickers for my A-D Superleicht.
Do I:
A) Peel the almost dead original seat tube sticker and replace with the new one(s) - (fork stickers were removed looong ago)?
B) Wrap the original down with clear, thin packing tape? (use new fork stickers?)

Remove the old one and clean the area with acetone, alcohol, Goof Off, etc. Then follow the interactions that came with the new sticker for installation.

That's a gorgeous frame; the chrome looks like it's in great shape.

No, the remains of the OP's decals show a 1980s design, which would be vinyl much like the widely available reproduction decals. Earlier Reynolds decals were a fragile, multi-layer system with a thick protective paper protecting the face, and an onionskin backing over the adhesive.

I think you may be able to see it in the photos.
Thanks for the advice!

I can probably glue up my Phil's (36/36 straight gauge rear/db front) with some new tubulars.
I had mentioned that I have 3 wheelsets and could not remember what I laced on the Record Large Flange hubs. Well, I dug those out and they're attached to never glued Campy Record Chrono's w/unused Conti 250g Comp tires AND the thinnest spokes I can remember seeing (straight gauge, alloy nipples).
What was I thinking?!?
I never weighed less than 180lbs, never raced. Must have got gram-itis.
Well, at least, they will be on the bike for the photos...
Took the Lemond out this morning for an incredibly short ride. Didn't keel over, no aches or pains. Small steps...

That's a beautiful example of C&V at its very finest. I almost want to ask for a few photos with no green in the background to see how the frame reflects a different color.
