This, and Barefoot "Rich Red Blend" are a pretty good combination :thumb:

The Barefoot is pretty good, actually, although I prefer their Malbec.

Mose Allison . "Your Mind Is On Vacation and Your Mouth is Working Overtime". Or "Living in a Fool's Paradise"...

Vintage enough to have a TV in the house that continuously loops = Woodstock the Movie.
Alvin Lee sure was a little dude.

one of my favorite scenes is the interview with the port-o-san cleaner. he embraces his work and both his sons, saying one is at the festival and one in vietnam.

I saw The Exploited and UK Subs at The Living Room in Providence, RI. Patriot's Day weekend, 1985. I was in 11th grade.

Been around a long time and this song means more to me today than it did in its day...

All these talented 'vintage' dudes playing a nice tribute of a great old song and then BAM. There's nobody left on stage but him. Timeless. Thanks.

Vintage enough to remember pickle suits, and Gamma Goats...

Though the thread has little to do with vintage bicycles, I like it, none-the-less. That said...

Does anyone know the Stephen Segal movie "Fire Down Below"? If so, I would love to know the name of the song at the end of the movie about Mr. Peabody's train and mining. Long have I wanted to get this tune for myself.

I listen around, but keep going back to these guys.

Greatest rock and roll song ever.

There is no such thing as the greatest rock and roll song, there are just a lot of great ones, and the greatest is simply in the mind of the person who likes whichever song more than the rest, fortunately I'm not limited to one "greatest" song.

Bikedued 04-22-16 03:34 PM

This is not the greatest song in the world. It's just a tribute.,,,,BD

I still like letters and face to face conversations.

Not familiar with the film, but does this help?

I've thought about it long and hard, but, naw, Rosalita is the greatest rock and roll song ever.

:D

I get ribbed at work because I don't plan my day/week/forever in Outlook. I do it on paper. Otherwise it doesn't really exist. ;)

Old school pen & paper planner guy here too - I used to have those large ringbound Franklin Covey planners when I was tied to a desk, but these small and easy to carry Mead planners work well for me.

Interesting you brought that up, I third this, I prefer using a small Mead planner as well. I carry it with me and can reach for it any time and instantly know what's going to happen at any given time, and can instantly see when and where to add a new appointment. Sure I have a laptop but the old paper planner is superior in that regard, so much better I don't bother with having another planner like Outlook in my computer. I tried using Outlook for about 6 months but it was too clunky to use and too time consuming.
