Bottle Rack Ideas

My wife has enjoyed setting up her new city bike, a Civia Twin Cities:

Her one issue, how to mount a bottle rack for her Klean Kanteen - Kanteen Reflect Steel Bottle: No Paint or Plastic, Bamboo, Laser Etched

She doesn't want to use the rack mountings on the down tube, she's looking for a way to mount it in the bars or front basket. I'm interested to hear your ideas. Thanks!

Follow up question on the 'obvious' solution: Anybody mount this on the stem riser - Klean Kanteen Accessories: TwoFish Steel Quick Cage ?

Is there a reason she doesn't want to use the bosses in the downtube?

Lets see a pic of the stem, I vote for a Minoura bracket.

Bikes: 1990 Trek 820, 1995 Trek 1220

I just got the King Cage Iris which works really well with the insulated Klean Kanteen.

I will have to get a picture posted later, I don't have one handy.

We have that mount and love it! She used this mount until we got the front basket... but now I can't figure out using this mount with the basket. : ( Can you mount this on the bars, facing the rider (instead of on the front of the bike)?

For the question about using the mounts on the downtube... well, she doesn't want it there. I honestly want to mount it there, but this is her bike and her aesthetic.

OH I was concentrating on the stem and never really saw the basket.

What about a short piece of 6" PVC pipe discreetly zip tied to the inside of the basket?

I'm a little concerned about the strength of the basket to hold the full bottle (but, I have no real experience). She got Peterboro Bicycle Basket

So what goes in the basket cotton candy? I saw some of those the day I wasted my time going over to HH's bike shop, they look pretty nice.

This? https://www.amazon.com/Topeak-6600800...cage+handlebar

I know, I know, not my bike...

Those are nice ideas, I think that might fit the need. Thank you!

Somebody suggested the coffee holder - Product Description | Origin8 however, I think these only work with tapered cups (am I wrong?).... But that led me to this bit of AWESOME: Product Description | Origin8 I think I will build a bike around this bottle cage!

I was thinking inside the basket as well, but I'd probably try to get my hands on some decent belting leather and make a sleeve out of that. Not sure about the attachment though, without seeing the basket in person. Maybe leather straps and copper rivets? I can't imagine the basket isn't strong enough for this - it looks like it's made of oak slats. Nice looking bike btw.

My wife has a bike buoy on her dressed up Raleigh Twenty. It swivels and mounts on the handlebar. Insert can be replaced / removed for a cup w/ handle. Funky cool and works well.

I acquired it probably 25 years ago but just the other day noticed a similar type marketed by Bell (I think?) or perhaps it was Schwinn. Anyhow, it was in the bike section at a Meijer store.
