I also have a change of schedules, I'll be there. Looking forward to seeing everyone again. What time is everyone meeting?

I assume the same time and place until told otherwise.
Should I bring that pretty little Shogun down for you?

I'm really psyched I can join up again this year and it looks as if Top and I will actually meet in the flesh!

One condition however, no one is allowed to diss Mrs. PB's electrified MTB. It's not C&V, it's clunky and fugly, but it gets her outdoors.

That would be nifty to take in; however our original plans were changed, for reasons now moot, and so I must send my regrets. I hope the weather is kind.

Thanks, but I have recently moved in to a smaller house, so I can't take on any projects right now. I actually am going to get rid of 2 bikes and get my collection down to 4. I've got a 71 Super Sport if anyone might be interested. Shogun is tempting though. I'll probably put the Super Sport in the truck, you never know what might happen.

I'm going to take a few pictures of it to show to my wife. She currently requires a long nap and some ice cream after a 15 mile ride!

BTW, I'll be riding Sporty. Any more Schwinn fillet brazed goodness coming to the Cape?

It's immediately behind Scott on the right. I'm standing on the left, but I don't look like this anymore. I'll also be in an all wool kit.

Here's a better look with Scott's Paramount behind Sporty.

Hey, Scott doesn't look like that anymore either, Bob! Both of you have been transformed.

But who's the Phred guy in the orange Trek hat? Yeesh.

I'm afraid I won't be joining this ride as I'm nursing a broken hand, sustained on a crash three weeks ago. It's healing up, and I'm back to bike commuting, but it will be a while before I can spend lots of hours on a bike.

I'm hopeful that you guys will manage to have at least a little fun even though I won't be there. I'm off on a bus driver's holiday during that time, leading a 5-day Northeast Kingdom bike tour for Discovery Bike Tours. Hey, since I get paid to do it that means I'm a professional cyclist, right? Is that cool, or what?

About as professional as @BluesDaddy and I happen to be. We raced up Mt Kearsarge this morning and there was prize money. Of course we were so far in the rear no one needed to worry about us.

Sure is nice to have a bike picked right off; must be Calvinistic predestiation at work.
I have the field narrowed to four. I think the '89 smoke/fade Centurion Ironman might offend in it's eighties over-the-topness, what with the zebra-striped bar tape and the vintage Scott aerobars. The '84 Vitus 979 is a contender, as is the lovely little Nishiki Medalist. But also in the mix is the '65 Super Sport, which has been stripped to it's union-made Chi-town frame and is ready for another 49 years on the road.
I have a truck, I just might haul the lot!

Take a look at my Thread about the freewheel I built for the race, Will this Freewheel have Low Enough Gearing.

The best response is we participated among some very competitive racers.

Pretty sure I'll be there (the ball).

Saturday is still up in the air. At this point I'd say don't count on me for the ride unless you hear otherwise from me.

Right now I am thinking of my Zinn as my ride. Still on the fence about going to the Builder's ball.

I think I'm bringing my Holdsworth, unless there is a threat of rain. I that case I'll bring the Fuji tourer. I'm bringing some parts and a 71 Super Sport as trade bait. are we meeting at 9:30 in the South Dennis trail head parking lot?

As it stands now I'll be down Friday afternoon as well.
Whether I can go home again is another matter.....
