Year and Model
Hello,
I was fortunate to stumble upon this gem for $25.00 recently. Been looking and looking on the net and I can't seem to find the exact year and model of this bike. The closest I've seen is the PR10, but I don't think this is it. The PR10 has half chrome forks - which mine does not.
I can tell you that the rims are DEA (made in France) and read 1975 on them. Not sure if that is the model year or not.
The bike has a Simplex Derailler, Atax stem, and Mafac brakes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is an AO8 and that is the very bottom of the line, but the low end Peugeots have always had a reputation for being very nice rides for the money. That's why they sold a bazillion of them. You got a very good deal at $25.
A PR10 would be worth at least ten times what you paid.
