Silca frame pump sizing?
I'm in the process of refurbishing my 80's vintage Marinoni to ride L'Eroica in Tuscany next year. I want to outfit with a period authentic Silca frame pump. Lots available at that big auction site but I'm not sure how to size. If somebody has one around and can tell me the overall length difference between compressed and relaxed it would be appreciated.

I just went down to the basement and measured 7 different silca pumps:
4 "framefit" pumps between 51mm and 57mm uncompressed - All of them would compress about 50 mm.
1 "framefit" pump around 44mm uncompressed- Compressed about 40mm. *
1 old style (highly textured non-framefit handle with 4 "silca" logos around the handle) 53mm uncompressed - Compressed about 35mm.
1 old style 43mm uncompressed - Compressed bout 35mm.
*note: the 44mm framefit pump had a handle that was about 95mm long: All the other, longer, pumps had handles around 115mm long.
