Looks nice the the water temp is about 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Way too cold for me.

Nice. Way to teach me to not be even just a tiny bit smug about joisey's pretty fall leaves. If only you could get fiery fall leaves with the daylight temps remaining in the '70s....

Here in New England we do, interspersed with days with temps remaining in the 40's.

Here's some from a 100K I did a couple weeks ago. The bike is a 92 miyata triple cross hybrid pressed into long distance duty. Works well enough for me.

Beautiful! I'm surprised Ontario colors don't turn earlier?

I dunno what's typical for around here to tell ya the truth... it's been a really weird year for weather here but October has been super nice for the most part. There's still about half the leaves on the trees around here today.

Bikes: 2 Trek Mtn, Cannondale R600 road, 6 vintage road bikes

Earlier this week was, maybe, the last summer day we'll get. 10/28 was 75deg when I pushed off from Oaks to do the SRT again. The surprise was that the trail was closed at Ford St for the final paving of the new section to Ross St. So I did a u-turn (did not feel like playing in traffic) and headed back but pushed on to Port Providence then Mont Clare. A simply great day - nice colors, quiet water, no wind, lovely air. And choosing the Nishiki was right as it matched the fall colors nicely.

I've seen several Nishiki Internationals but none like mine. 1980, Suntour Cyclone RD, Sugino Mighty crankset, brown/gold decals, brown housings, chrome socks, yellow saddle and tape and a few other touches. Very nice C&V ride.

BTW: I've no idea why the SW wont insert photos inline tonight. See attachments.

I was in Vermont a few weeks ago just as the foliage was hitting peak. Down here in Missouri, we've only been raking leaves for a week or so; up there, I'll be they're all gone by now. Beautiful place to ride!

It was 80 degrees last weekend and only 40 this weekend! That's Missouri weather for yah. I do enjoy the fall colors but am not looking forward to the cold, icy winters we have around here. Time to get some studded tires for the allez...

From: 700 Ft. above sea level.

Bikes: Not as many as there were awhile ago.

Just got this on the road today......... It's not classic and it's not vintage, just kind of old but, it does go nicely with the leaves.

It was sunny today and the high was 12C so I basically had to go out and ride a 100km. Got some nice pics though!

This drop-bar conversion on a hybrid works pretty awesome for long rides on gravel.
