I was given one of those bottle cages. It broke. Made of SS tubing. Fortunately I was working with a company that did a lot of SS welding and had it repaired.

My friends gave me a hard time because I cleaned and polished the buttons, touched up the inside of the button with silver paint.

That actually sounds pretty darn cool to me. If you're going to spend over $20 on a cage, you want it to be bling.

So easy to goose people.
To be sure, I couldn't really care what most people ride.
FWIW I had a nice De Rosa SLX that I lovingly rode for six years with DA 7400.
It never exploded once.
Still have the frameset if someone needs one.

Grail bike for sure, I have one a tad too small on fleabay. Would happily offer a discount to bf members or even trade for a larger one. Enjoy!

Your kids don't really need to go to college, or any food. And living outside in a dog house is a time honored tradition!

I bought a mid 80's frame and built it up with Dura-Ace and Campagnolo. I found that the bike rode beautifully, in fact I liked it so much I bought another - this one with all Campy SR parts. Just wonderful to ride and you will love yours as well!

Unfortunately, I would have to move to Spain before the Visa bill arrived.
It would be the final straw.
