Brooks Swallow Look Alike Saddle Distressed Leather Brown Copper Brass Road Race | eBay
I just got this off of eBay. I'm trying to figure out who made it, but there's nothing on it but a date stamp(?). It appears to be well-made, with thick, stiff leather that nevertheless has a bit of give. I doubt it's as good as a Brooks saddle, but it seems decent enough. Anyone know anything about it?

The darker spots do seem to have been slightly scuffed up, presumably to facilitate the absorption of some dye or polish...you can clearly see the scuffing with a bright flashlight. The leather's in good shape, but it really drank up the Proofide that I put on it.
It appears to be very close to a V-O leather racing saddle, but without any V-O marks or bag loops on the back. The guy selling it described it as a Swallow look-alike, but it's really not. I believe it's made the way it is, rather than someone modifying an existing saddle.
