Help identify this titanium quill
Very light quill - no name. the only letters "HL" and 22 indicative of size are found on the aluminum wedge.
What is different on this stem is that the clamp is welded at a higher position than any Ibis or any other Ti quills I've seen. Quality appears to be really good.
Can someone tell me the make, model, and approximate year?

Can you weigh the stem? Are you sure it is ti? Back in the 90''x faux "ti" stems were quite popular and were quite light. HL is a Taiwan company that produces (produced?) bike components. Can't remember the exact name of the company, but their parts were stamped with a scripted HL. If it is a ti stem, they would not have stamped the HL in the quill, but put it on the wedge.
