Windsor Winchester

I picked up this guy this weekend. I had to buy six other bikes but thought the frame was cool enough to go for it. I didn't know if Windsor or the bike was desirable at the time but I think I got lucky. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to make it a project or sell it. Does anyone have some info on the bikes value or ways to check the authenticity?

Welcome to the forums. Where are you and the bike? Any pics of the bike by itself?

I could be wrong but I don't think it is anything special, it looks like a basic everyday or even a work bike.

I'm in Crown King, Az. I'll get some pics after work. And thanks for the warm welcome. I think I'm gonna sell it if it's not anything special. I'll have to keep an eye out for more vintage bikes though.

Windsor Aka Saxe Coburg is the Royal family in Buckingham Palace .. Since India Was part Of the British Empire why not have a Bike made, using that Name?

It is also a Name formerly used By AMexican Bike company , the same name is Now applied to A Chinese made bike sold by BD.
India Had many utilitarian Bikes Made that is probably One. copies of Old Utilitarian British Bikes ..

I expect getting it on the rear rack took some weightlifting.

Yeah it's a heavy bike. My wife rode it on a pub crawl and said its a freaking hog. She's also used to riding a carbon xtc.
