Bikes: '17 Access Old Turnpike Gravel bike, '14 Trek 1.1, '13 Cannondale CAAD 10, '98 CAD 2, R300

Some of the updates posted here and seen elsewhere are well executed and look very nice. Many of the updated bikes are beautiful.

But than again... weren't the quill stem bikes beautiful to begin with.

I can honestly say I like the bikes in all states of restoration... like modern (or modernized). Or lesser versions of updated like semi-modernized with things like updated bar tape, or improved replacement parts. Or even fully vintage with cotton or thin plastic bar tape, steel rims, and polished aluminum parts.
