HELP! Identify These Air Forks On A Nishiki Colorado Cunningham Design

Greetings, I'm new to the forum and I need some help. I recently bought a Used Nishiki Colorado Cunningham Design Bike. The bike serial number has only Five Digits. I'm trying do find out the Make & Model of the Air Shocks so I can get a seal kit for them. The shock shaft is 24 mm in diameter & the serial number on them is 115626317. What happens is the with leak down on air & a little oil. I have not taken one apart to see if it's simple O-Rings I need to replace of more complicated seals I need to retain the air. When I first got the bike the retaining caps were loose showing no maintenance. I tightened them and the oil leakage stopped but it still has a Slow air leak. I checked the Schrader Valves and they are not leaking. Any help you can give will be Greatly Appreciated. Thank In Advance For The Help....

Welcome to the forum. I have a Colorado with the same frame, paint scheme and decals. It originally had a rigid fork. So I'm guessing your suspension fork was a later addition. Therefore finding the specs on the Colorado will not provide any information on the fork. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Have you ridden it with the engine yet? How does it work? I've been considering such a conversion but would like some impressions before making the commitment.

They look like early MArzocchi's -- google the Marzocchi XC 500 and you may be able to find some manuals online

Agree, they are definitely Marzocchis.

Production went to Taiwan a few years ago, but until then Marzocchi maintained a rebuild center for all of the earlier forks.

Parts sales seem iffy at this point, since few will want to rebuild such a heavy, short-travel fork, but their stuff was solid from my own experience riding an early, similar-to-yours hybrid (700c) air fork. Mine still works fine and holds air all these 20-something years later!

Yes I have ridden it with the engine installed. As a motorized bike builder I have to tell you a HUB DRIVE is a MUST!! The drive that comes in The Kit drives the wheel by the Spokes & is hard to line up properly causing the chain to jump. If you need advice on installation let me know & I'd be happy to help you out. I've included some pics of the Finished Bike.. Man it hauls tail. I can top out at about 45+ mph on the flats. Needless t say a Full Helmet & Protective clothing is also A MUST!
