11/2: 29.07 - 6.83 commuting, 22.24 workout after work.
11/4: 45.31 (PB distance)
11/7: 12.15

MTD: 86.53
YTD: 1002.47

I’m still training for El Tour de Tucson on the 18th of November, doing the 100km. Planning to take about 4 hours with breaks.

The 18th will be my first metric century. I am riding for a charity called Tu Nidito, which is a childrens’ grief and trauma counseling center in Tucson. If you are interested in supporting the charity, this is the link: https://www.pledgereg.com/4745/davidharris

Not going to lie, I read this early this morning, and it took reading it again just now to figure out the ratio of Miles/km part. And it hit me. Thanks for making me think today.

I'm out until (at least) March. Cleveland falls and winters, coupled with my work schedule, mean limited riding time.
Keep it upright and may the snow be at a minimum for the rest of you.

The 10 day weather forecast beginning tomorrow isn’t looking good .

We’ve been in a drought but about half of the next ten days have a chance of rain and cooler temps .
If the road is dries out during any of the days , I’ll be out there . Got to get out the cool weather clothes .

All of my miles are on single speed bikes .

The rain was supposed to hold off until this afternoon, but I woke up to an off and on drizzle .
The wasn’t too wet yet , so I got in a quick ride .

Edit: added Saturday, mileage didn’t change . Woke up with knees hurting, figured it was partly due to the weather .
All of my miles are on single speed bikes.

11/13: put two new Continental GPs on the Allez. Broke two tire levers, and committed my first act of pinch flatting a tube.
11/14: 12.7 - 2.17 commuting to and fro the office, 10.53 easy ride after I got home and changed. Stopped at the bike shop to have them check it out for any needed maintenance before El Tour, needs derailleurs adjusted and a new chain so left it overnight. Picked up a couple of spare tubes and some new (hopefully better) tire levers.

First road ride in a while. 37.7 degrees at one point is a little too cool for me, but I couldn’t face another Zwift ride this morning. I got a Kickr bike last year so both me and my wife could Zwift when it’s too cool or wet to ride. The thing is like riding a brick. I’m still not quite sure how a stationary bike can be so uncomfortable. I think I’m going to go back to using my Roubaix on a smart trainer.
