A LOT of GREAT inspirational stories here!!!
As for me... I avoid being in FRONT of a camera lens!!! So I don't have any before pictures handy.... But I did hit a milestone for this weekend... I hit the 40 pound mark! My jeans are no longer tight!

I have to admit I have been hanging around the forums as a guest for sometime now, slightly embarrassed by my clydesdale status. Started out at about 230 about 1.5 months ago, I am now 204, 5 pounds from hitting my first goal of 199, then I am shooting for 170-175. Just like riding my bike though.

Glad you decided to join us, C_A_S_E, and congrats on the weight loss. If you have any before/after pics, post them. We all share in the encouragement and motivation one another's stories bring.
I too am looking forward to the day I'm at 199. I keep telling myself there'll be a new road bike for me at that point.

I am doing pretty much the samething, hope to upgrade from my aluminum Trek 1.2 road bike to a Trek Madone 4.7, not too far off from it.

I started at 290 pounds in July of 2008. This photo was from the vacation where we rented a bike and I decided to get one when we got home.
Here are a few photos from this summer:
The lowest weight I got to was 153 pounds after a century ride followed immediately by a stomach flu.
I currently bounce between 160 and 165 pounds.
Bicycling and healthy eating changed my life and it can change yours too. It is totally possible. Keep at it!

</intolerance., how tall are you, if I may ask? Your starting and ending weights are real close to mine (I'm 5'-10.5" and started at 304 with a goal of 165, currently at 230) - and I'd like to think when I'm done I'll look as good as you.

Still at it!
So I'm checking in yet again. Last time I posted I was 233. I'm now at 220.6! Still working hard and trying to get under 200 by mid October. I'm feeling quite a bit stronger now days and have a lot more energy. We'll keep pushing. I have a LONG, LONG way to go. I need to weigh somewhere around 145-150 lbs for my height and frame. I'm 5'4" and have a barrel chest. I'm NOT your typical biker's body (even at my optimum weight) but I have grown to love the sport. Thanks for all your stories! Such a motivation!

Attached photos show me in January 2004 (left) at 214 pounds and now at 158 pounds (right) - and still losing! My weight see-sawed up-and-down (albeit mostly up) until April 2009 when I started tracking my diet religiously on livestrong.com, cut out all the junk food/fried food and returned to cycling after a 17-year hiatus. I'm 55 years old but feel as good as I did at 38. My resting heart rate is down to 54 and I'm looking forward to riding a century this fall.

WOW!!! Great Job Everybody!!!
My peak weight (according to my Wii Fit) was 318lbs (144.55kgs) back in Feb '10. I stopped using it for a few months, then got on it again on Jul 22 at 302.5lbs (137.5kgs). Today, Aug 20th, I'm down to 289.7lbs (131.68kgs). Since I've started using the Wii's program, and cut down to one soda (diet typically) per day, I've lost just over .4lb (.18kg) per day. I sure that I can't keep this pace up, but I'm encouraged.
My "before" shot at 293lbs (133.18kgs). Me at Mount St. Helens 8/11/2010
I'm 5'10.75" (1.524m) tall, and 41 years old. My goal is to hit 185lbs (84.09Kgs).
