Count me in for one. Never bought a cycling jersey before so I'm unsure of sizing. My chest measurement is a 52. Whatever size jersey that would equate to ...... I want one! -JB

About a 3X, I would guess, or a 4 if you want it a bit loose

Here's some additional information from SpongeDad who put together the last Road forum order via Champion System:

The style was "Bikeforums No. 1", but you should confirm that by having Charlie send you a .pdf of the design just to be safe.

Also, for anyone doing another order - paypal takes a 3% cut, which was a little more than I anticipated.

Count me in as well. I don't get to check the forum as often as I'd like anymore, but I'll try to keep up .

Gotta re-measure my chest, but probably one 3x and one 2x (gotta love being in-between sizes).

I just sent an email to Charlie (above -- Thanks BillK and SpongeDad.)

If there are any final thoughts let me know.

I told him that despite the cliche of big guys wearing black the early consensus had been a light color.

At $40 each, I'm in for 2 at 3X. As for color, I suggest yellow, that way, it comes out a 1 color job (black).

I think this is the winner ...

(I'd like to see the bikes moved in closer to the horse, but that's just me)

More importantly, do you have a hi-res source image? I'd imagine Champion Systems will need a vector graphics source (.eps, for example) or a hi-res raster image (.tif or .bmp as examples) to get a good transfer.

I like it and I want one!

As I said last month when the ball got rolling again -- I want one. Does somebody have to submit a group order, or does Champion take them individually from us? [And I'm sure we could buy twice as many { for our fan clubs ?!? } if we added a variation that says "I'm with Clyde".]

I did the original editing/drawing in Paint. Is a .bmp form that ok?

I asked the guy at Champion I sent the email to about this. I am awaiting a reply. (I basically said that they could own the shirt and we'd just order if that got me out of the order fulfillment business. Me- I just want a shirt, I don't want a part time job...)

If I don't hear from him by days end I'll follow up.

They may want vector art - though they should be able to look at the file and know if it's OK.

What's the dimension of the original?

wait a second, you guys know all these words and I used MS Paint and replaced each color one square at a time to make it solid black?

Joking aside, the file I attached is it. I just dummied it up in Paint. If I ought to be doing something different -- please let me know. (I'm a numbers guy.)

Vector is a format for High res publishing files, raster is a photoshop/GIMP/Paint file. .bmp is a Raster file. If it turns out we need a vector art type file, I'm sure that someone has that capability here on BF. The chief difference between the two is Vector can be resized and rescaled without distortion and Raster has to in effect recode new info when it's resized, hence distortion. Have you ever resized a photo and had the person in it look squat and short or stretched and skinny? That's Raster resizing distortion.

OK, I just looked and they prefer Vector.
https://www.champ-sys.com/index.asp?i...w%20to%20order

What Clyde has any of these three formats?
If you are submitting digital artwork we accept Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw and Macromedia files (sorry, no MAC files).
Quote from Champion site. They do accept .jprg and others, but will delay and likely will increase price as well, unless I miss my guess....they'll have to convert and noone does anything for free in the corporate world.

I can adjust the graphics into vector as need. Just will need to know which format. Probably EPS or Tiff would be best
