Note to self:

The pizza is now gone and this is the last can of diet pepsi, its time to go back on your diet / exercise routine. Surgery was almost 3 weeks ago and your vacation was 4 weeks ago its been a month since you did any exercise and your body is now starting to gain weight again.

Tomorrow is Monday start of a new week you return to physical therapy Tuesday inside the fully loaded gym that you have full access to. Get off your fat ***** and start doing something do not let the 4 months of cycling go to complete waste and gain back the 60 lbs you lost.

Sorry I feel like crap and am a little down on myself for falling off the wagon I posted this so I can see it all week do me a favor and just bump it up with some encouragement or derogatory comments just so I can jump start myself again tomorrow and go all week. I hopefully just got my motivation left by watching the Diva battle royal /wink on WWE Summerslam hahahaha. I am happily married but hot women (including my wife) motivate me to look better

If I lose 30 more lbs during the winter my $$$ limit for a new bike will be $2,000 !!!! if I lose less then 10 its $500 10-29 $1000.

If I gain weight my wife gets to sell my harley for 12,000 where is the fairness in that! but its motivation

Sell the Harley and put the time you would have spent on that saddle into bike riding instead. The pounds will come off and you'll feel better. In addition, the people at the bike shop will be much better motivation than the ones at the typical biker bar.

Ok Shubox, I had surgery June 29, was given full activity approval on 15 days ago and have ridden 260 miles since then. I have had no appreciable miles or seat time since late June, my butt and legs are killing me right now and I am dragging myself out each night to try to ride at least 20 miles. Although I did take tonight off. Now get up, put down the Pizza and get your butt on your bike and ride, ride, ride.

Just remember to have fun and don't over do it like I did. First week back I over did it and strained my lower back.

Dibs on the Harley

j/k... just hop in the saddle and feel the fresh morning air and you'll start loving biking again.
I just finished repairing my old steely, so this coming week I'm going to try to commute to downtown Chicago on my bike.

Get off the couch and ride, says the yoyo on his fourth big trip down the scale. Inertia gets harder to overcome as mass increases, so get moving now!

And good luck, dude!

I just got back 7 miles 36 mins it was just a little jaunt I was starting to get winded and light headed after about 3 miles so I took it easy the whole way.

Shoulder felt ok only I pretty much rode with one had the vibes from the handle bars were playing havoc with the pain in my shoulder.

Did you have some food before you went out on your ride? I can't function normally on my bike if I haven't loaded up on energy before the ride. Toast with peanut butter and banana normally does the trick for me.
If I don't eat I drop way to fast in my energy level.

Whole grain products before the ride release energy on a slow rate and keep you energized during your ride. After the ride have some banana for the potassium.

Eating is important so you don't bonk.

Good job on your bike riding
