Instrument Operations, or control, an earth sensing environmental instrument on a satellite during the day and teach two classes at the local community college in the evenings. Ride on weekends.

But, I don't have a "job" ... I get paid for a hobby.

A little background before I simply say, "retired"......

Mowed lawns, polished shoes, Bagger at an air force base commisary, cheese & salami sales at a mall, shoe/stereo/car/motorcycle salesman, life guard/swimming instructor/diving coach, messanger, customer service, delivery person, auto parts store..... State Worker: DMV, Corporations, Justice, Corrections, Computer Operator w/Teale Data Center, Group Supervisor/Youth Counselor/Prison Canteen Manager with CYA,
and.......
CDC(r) where I retired from as a Correctional Officer @ DVI, Tracy CA.

Now I gotta figger out what I wanna be when I grow up..... or simply not "grow up".

Search on the word in any job posting database and get hundreds upon hundreds of hits, with only one or two actually for architects. I know. I've been doing it non-stop for almost 3 years now.

No one is publishing hard information in my field, but the best educated guesses are putting our unemployment rate at somewhere around 40 %.
