I'm a department head (though my department is now just one person... me) at a national membership-based non-profit civic organization headquartered in DC. I work mostly on publications, recordkeeping, and data management.

Starting in a couple months I'll add graduate student to the mix as I start working on a masters in urban planning, with an eye towards working on transportation planning (esp. cycling and public transit). I'm keeping my day job, so it's gonna be a busy next couple years!

I work part-time as the prepress supervisor at a print shop. I also do quite a bit of freelance graphic and web design. I'm back in school right now to finally get my degree (20 years after I started) and want to get into the teaching field.

I've been a glass blower for the better part of a decade, and have written three books on the subject and have taught lots of classes on it.

Me too. I do VW, Audi, Mitsubishi and Sprinter. Haven't been in the field long though, less than a year on these lines/current dealership. Worked for an independent during tech school and a couple years afterward.

Hospice people are awesome. Having to go through the system with two of my grandparents was a tough, sad, and trying time both times. But hospice made it much better then it could have been.

I'm a meteorologist. It's what I've wanted to be since I was 5. Most of us are that way.

And if any of you pull the "you get paid to be wrong" card, remember that people on wallstreet cant even predict tomorrow, but you still give them your money. Just saying.

My Passat blew up this spring, the turbo exploded on the highway and got sucked back into the engine. Now I drive ford. I loved that car though.
