06/06 = 214.5 lbs OK, a good and bad week. It looks like I might be off the plateau (helps that I stopped gorging on a couple of items), but a chest cold kept me off the streets for a bit. I was able to get ~15 to 16 miles worth of walking in just to keep moving, so that was good.

I currently weigh on Fridays. I am not consistent on what day of the week I weigh in and often miss weeks.
All time high: 158 in December 2010
March 30: 143.5 First weigh in since the 158 reading. Was in Texas for the winter and I did not weigh myself, just counted the calories.
April 6: 140
April 13: 139
April 20: 137
April 27: 137
May 3: 136.5
May 9: 135
On trip, no weighing until June
June 3: 131
Goal, four pounds a month. (A hair less than a pound a week)

Greetings,
Came across these forums a couple of days ago. Found a lot of motivation.
Have always been big, mostly because I really like food. During graduate school I lost a lot of weight and did a pretty good job of keeping it off. Well a marriage, two jobs and two kids later I had put much of it back on. On a recent trip to New Hampshire (to get measured for some custom Limmer Boots, I really like backpacking) my three year old was out hiking me on a short hike up a short hill. I decided that if I ever wanted to use the boots I would have to start reigning my weight back in.

6/6/2011 - 245.6 lbs
So far so good. I though it would not hurt to have some more accountability by posting my weight here for all the world to see. My primary job is a school teacher, which comes to an end in another week. With more time on the bike and being more active in general I would like to be entering the 220's when school starts in September.

Figured I need to get more accountable and this is a great way to start!

For this first week I would like to aim to for a 2lb weight loss and look to log 100km on the bike by Sunday evening. As of today I have 10km from the daily commute.
