I just installed the same fenders on my 7.3fx. Love them EXCEPT... the day after I got them on I bang my knee into the front one by accident pretty hard. It messed up the alignment enough that it was rubbing the front tire. It was a 5 minute fix once I was home and had the right tools to do it. I now carry the right sized wrench in my tool kit lol.

Correct

To be fair I only have an apartment so it's either the living room or the bedroom. Landlord wants all bikes outside but there's no way I'm stowing a steel bike in the elements... especially when there's nothing to lock it to!

When I buy my house in the near future, I'll get a 2 car garage... one for the car, one for the bike(s)

Yep, I have to have fenders on all my bikes. Planet Bike fenders rock! I grew up in the 60s and 70s, so a bike without fenders just doesnt look finished to me. Even my old 10 speed I bought when I was a teen had little useless fenders,(still have that bike).

Richard Masoner just posted a great reason why you might want fenders even if you never ride in the rain.
