Beachgrad05, you are an inspiration. I like your pictures as I remember that area from the late '50s, early '60s, when I lived in Torrance and would wander all over Southern California. Sure looks different now.

Yes, I was nuts considering. My knee was way less troublesome than I had anticipated. If it had been painful like I had been experiencing I would have shined doing the challenge. But using patella support under a knee sleeve...helped. And the new knee support I got Sat morning along with the leg warmers both made it possible to ride the final three days.
