Plumber, if I was up north I wouldn't be riding at all. Thirty eight and rain sounds grim.

I am riding to feel better and for my health, Bike doesn't help either goal setting in the garage . One good thing about it I had the trail all to myself
I didn't start keeping track till March 1 26.5 total for the month plus I am climbing hills on a single speed I had trouble with a month ago on a geared bike

I did 438 miles last month. I have a 20 mile a day commute to work then I like to do 60 or more for the weekend weather permitting. So far it's been 98 miles this month for March. In the summer months I like to get in 200 miles a week by taking the long way home and ride more on the weekends.

Struggled with motivation to get out on the bike today but the forecast tomorrow is wet and I need to get into central London before long (I take the bike in preference to the train but frankly don't care much for either in town), so decided to go out for at least a short ride.

So I did my usual trick of picking a geocache and cycling out to get it. It's one I looked for briefly before but couldn't find due to so many people being about. It's a lovely spot and today the weather was a bit gloomy so I figured it would be quieter. And indeed it was, I found the cache.

Not such a hilly route as the last one so I looked to see if I could maintain a respectable average speed. And my moving average for the ride worked out almost exactly 15mph. Not much by roadie standards but a personal best for me over the distance.

March 4 - 57 miles
March 6 - 21 miles

MTD 78/310
YTD 468/3107

One more day before company. Beautiful day for a ride today but my clamp on my seat post had something go wrong and the tilt went out of whack. The clamp won't stay tight. Not a fun six miles coming home.

in for 400, last months goal that i didn't reach.

Already at 117 so not bad so far. Had some rear spoke problems hindering me last month, but I think those are all fixed. I should get at least a hundred a week. This is the month I hit the goal (missed jan and feb....)
