A Few Pics Of The New Horse

Awesome! I've had my eyes on that Domane 6 frame for awhile now. Didn't care much for the black seat post on last years model. This year looks a lot better. And, it qualifies for Project One configuration. I can get a 6800 mechanical built as a Project One less expensively than the frame itself and getting the full component group off eBay. I'd rather have Trek build it up in the factory. The Domane 6.2 that I test rode was the sweetest shifting Ultegra that I've ever ridden.

Oh, they're awesome. My LBS owner has a Project 1 with Di2 of his own. That was what I test rode when I was going through the warranty ordeal. Sweet, sweet bikes. I think you should buy two!

Adrien, a little of both. The stem is taller due to some back and neck issues. That's the stem that I had on my Madone. The geometry on this bike, though, is just relaxed enough more that I may go back to the original stem. I'm going to have to spend more time on it before I decide. The brifters are just angled for my own preference. They just kind of follow the natural angle of my wrists. I almost went with blue, too, but the shop was out of blue cable housings.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Like the look. I have about 800 miles on mine, only a 4.5 though, and I really like it! All the best with it. No more CF chunks OK!?!
What type of stand is that? How do you like it?

LOL. Bill, I promise, I absolutely do not want to go through all of that again. The stand is called "The Grandstand". I found it online a couple of years ago but I don't remember exactly where I ordered it from. Just Google it and you can find them for about $20. I'm sure there are better but, for the price, it holds my bike up. Thanks!

I had a 2011 4.5 Madone and liked it so much that I thought I had to get even more of that same goodness. I was able to get a very good trade in deal and moved to a 2012 5.2 Madone.
