3 fishing poles with zebco reels. That was a first.

Yesterday on the highway I found Eucalyptus debris. :( And yes, I stopped and took the big stuff off the shoulder.

This morning I found two halves of a "Husky" 1/2" combo wrench. The box end was a ratchet. I really like those kind of wrenches, bummer the thing is broke in half, but I'm keeping them anyways, never know when you need a short wrench for a tight space!

I doubt it, Husky appears to be the 'house' brand at Home Despot. Couldn't hurt to walk into a store with those two halves and see whether they replace it or not (even if I say I don't know how it broke)

It mentions lifetime warranty online. Sears never asked me about how I broke things when I took them back.

On my way home last night there was a pair of gloves laying on the side of the MUP. Not uncommon to see one glove, but a pair caught my attention. I left them there thinking someone would return looking for them.
This morning on my way back in to work the gloves were still sitting there. I left them. I'm not rich, but frankly I'm not in dire enough straits to need used gloves. |
Yesterday I found something called an iLOK. It's not a thumb drive, just looks like one. I put it on Craigslist's lost and found.

Found a dime. And you can have it.
15th Ave approaching Bethany Home Rd from the south. The bicycle lane is in the left side of the right turn lane. For the last couple of months there has been a dime embedded in the asphalt where I wait for the light. The only time I'm there is the afternoon rush hour. There is not enough room in the bike lane between people going straight and those turning right to even try to pick it up. Besides it didn't budge when pushed by my shoe. It seems stuck. |

So. Much. Eucalyptus debris. Had to stop four times along 'the gauntlet' to move debris, including a sizeable branch lying along the width of the shoulder.

Railroad spikes and giant bolts. WHY? Who knows.

Once found an old Raleigh bike hanging from a street sign late at night. Didn't take it home as it was probably stolen and left there.

Yesterday I found Bob Ross trees.
Not the kind of trees Bob Ross would paint, just the kind that look like him: https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...d6e076e14c.jpg |

I found a metal bracket, 4" square, intentionally wedged vertically into a crack in the road. It was pointed corner up and would have torn thru a car tire, let alone take down a bicycle. |
Snap-On 10mm long handle wrench.
|
10mm sockets and wrenches seem to be the ones everyone uses and looses.
|
Great thread! I've found two wallets so far. Returned one through Facebook chat and a meetup. Returned the other to the guy's doorstep. He was very flustered since I don't think he realized he lost it in the first place. Other than that, nothing exciting.
|
I found a rack strap the other day ... the Tubus type with three straps. Nice to find something I can use.

10mm wrench last week and a 10mm socket today. |

You're saying you found a car? Are you going to sell it?
