You need to do a better job of locking up your bike. Just saying.

More expensive parts attached to the back. I lock through the rear wheel just because the lock has to go somewhere, so why not there. I don't bother locking the front, though mostly that's because I feel like the area where I park is pretty safe.

Bikes: everywhere

I'd just get some Allen head skewers. Maybe Pitlocks if I had to do a lot of extended period bike parking.

Only takes seconds to grab a front wheel w/ QRs...

On my Trek 720 commuter, I have Kenda Kwest K193 35-622 on the back and 28-622 on the front. Our tandem had Kenda Kwest K193 35-622 front and rear until the sidewalls wore out after ~4K miles, mostly commuting. Replaced them with Schwalbe Marathon 38-622. When the Schwalbes wear out, I am going back to the Kenda Kwest K193. My PDG70 commuter has a Kenda Kwest 40-559 on the back and a Nashbar City Slick 32-559 on the front. The Kenda 100 psi 32-559 is more than twice the cost of the Nashbar, and after more than 3K miles with the Nashbar on front and Kenda on back, I see no reason to change either until they wear out, and then it will be replace with the same.

I do run Sunlite TR tubes.

My dad was a Class A mechanic with decades of experience. Sometimes he'd fix a neighbour's car at home. One a bunch of then were having a beer afterr working on a car (dad would not drink whilst working on a car) and they got to discussing the most important part of a car. Many of the guys said it was the brakes. Dad said it was tires then brakes. His pouint was that if the tires didn't grip the road when the brakes were applied then the brakes weren't the most important thing. A lot of those guys then went a got better tires.

Cheers
