Been happy with them so far, with good grip, but I don't know how the grip is when it's raining. They did get wet a couple of times when I was forced to ride through puddles on the MUPs here but I'm not sure that's a real test.

My Uptown 8 - not a drop bar bike, btw - has these - they look like they belong on an Iron Maiden album cover but they're pretty decent:
MKS Grip King Pedals
ive got the mks grip kings on a commuter, and a drop bar gravel bike. Really like them.

Bikes: 2014 Trek Crossrip LTD, 2013 Raleigh Misceo

I have these on 2 bikes and have been happy with them. They accept toe clips and have a reasonable weight. Can't remember where I got them ~$65.00.

I figured it out, at least part of it. This is the manufacturer site:
R146 - Wellgo

There are aluminum and magnesium versions, accounting for the 307 or 266 gram numbers. I still think the 390 is a typo or from another pedal. What's making me scratch my head now is the note at the bottom that says

OPTION:
R146A / R146V / R146C

I haven't figured that out yet.

I bought a set from this listing
Gobike88 Wellgo R146R Alloy Pedals for Road CrMo Axle 307G Pair Red Y48 | eBay
...though it's strange the Wellgo page implies that a colored one should be mag and lighter. I'll report back when they arrive what the box says and what they weigh on my kitchen scale.

I ended up getting the Wellgo C266 pedals. They are small but should nearly cover the full width of my foot. A big advantage was also them I could get them in Australia. Will be interesting to see what they're like.

They came in today. The green box was exactly as shown in the eBay listing. The pedals are a nice, solid-looking red, perhaps a little deeper than the Viper Red of my Ronald McDonald-like Cannondale. They weighed 313 grams/pair on my uncalibrated kitchen scale. The platforms are pretty small!

Some numbers to aid future Googling, not sure what all of these signify. Unfortunately I have zero knowledge of Chinese to tell you what the letters say.

They're really small platforms!

Also included, adorable tools and decal. Why is it a horse? Who can say?

Bikes: recumbent & upright

Consider a set of MKS Road pedals ?
they are effective, feel good and fairly inexpensive.

I also got a sticker with mine, but (a) no horse, and (b) no tools! That's not the world's smallest pedal wrench, is it?

I think it's for the pins.

And why is the horse wearing gloves on its front hooves? So confused...

https://www.amazon.com/VP-Components-...iglink20253-20

I have VP's on two of my commuter bikes. Great pedals, light, stylish well built with sealed bearings. Love them.

That being said, I just picked up a pair of Crank Bros 50/50's

https://www.amazon.com/Crank-Brothers...rds=Crank+Bros

and Tioga Superfoot 8's

https://www.amazon.com/Tioga-Superfoo...ds=Superfoot+8

to try out!
