She seemed to indicate that she had an acquaintance that was at the house, and intoxicated sometime Sunday morning, and left. I didn't clarify whether that was Sunday AM or Monday AM, but the bike could have been abandoned by the road for a day or so.

I rode yesterday, but in the opposite direction. And perhaps car drivers are looking elsewhere.

I didn't push for details, but I think she wasn't too surprised, although she apparently didn't know the bike was missing until I was walking it down the road.

The woman appeared to be a middle aged woman, decent house. Nothing would indicate anything suspicious. Also there appeared to be another similar road bike in the garage, although I didn't see it closely. And she took the "found" bike, not mine. I suppose I should have tried to switch bikes and see what she said, but I was walking with her bike on the street side.

I'll watch the local Craigslist to see if anything shows up. Maybe also bikeindex. But, I'm pretty sure it went back to the right owner.
