About 15 years ago CDOT moved an office to just down the street from my office. Over the last few years I have run into one of their engineers whose commute shares the same last three miles as mine. He invited me over for their "Bike to Work Day" breakfast buffet. They had five or six employees ride in. They help get sponsors for snack tables throughout Colorado Springs for this annual event.

Here's a quick video of my ride. Nothing, too different, except Monday I tried out a new modification to my route. I found what is marked as a dead-end street actually empties into the rear of a parking lot, which lets me circumvent a block of sidewalk riding; a sidewalk which has become too crowded for riding due to growing and shifting commercial patterns in Colorado Springs.
