Front derailler cage rubbing against chain guard

hi. this is my first time replacing a crank set which i am doing on a 2017 trek 3. i replaced the stock crankset, a FSA Dyna Drive 48/36/26 170mm, with a Shimano Acera FC M371 48/36/26 170mm, but now the front derailleur is rubbing against the chain guard on the crankset.
what's the best way to fix this? should i have installed FSA Dyna Drive instead of Shimano Acera? Can i just remove the chain guard? or should i try adjusting the front derailleur?
it's almost impossible to find FSA dyna Driver with ratio 48/36/26. if i use 42/32/22 instead, will I have to modify the length of the chain?
thank you in advance.

Personally. I would get rid of the chain guard. You could adjust the high stop on the derailleur so it does not hit the guard as long as it still shifts onto the big ring.

If this bike has grip shifters from SRAM as is very likely then all you should really have to do is just adjust the upper limit screw so it doesn’t go far enough to rub.
