Bikes: addict, aethos, creo, vanmoof, sirrus, public ...

never put the bike in/on a car, but sometimes I ride in and then take transit home, and back, until I feel like riding the bike. earlier this week I rode to a meeting around 25 miles away, and took the train back with the bike. it was nice. Options / flexibility are always good if you can keep track of the details like having the right shoes and clothes.

I did have a friend who would do a commute as you suggest and she enjoyed it but then moved closer to me (which is great for me) but she is much further from work. She has talked with me about trying to packraft and do all this crazy stuff to get to her work which is close by in distance but far away in roads. I was all for it but I think it would be tough for her to manage as she is not a hardcore cyclist but very causal but in great shape so could do it bur having to packraft and bike is a bit much for my commute.
I had a friend who would kayak from an island to the harbor (Nanaimo BC) where she would leave a bike and ride the rest of the way to work. Short kayak, short ride, so, unlike the question for the thread, she did it both ways
